SOPHIE

Sophie started Cheerleading in London and after a year on London Rockets she created Goldsmiths Felions. She went on to lead them to two 2nd place trophies in two years and won the prestigious Captain of the Year award and Full Colours. Sophie also enjoyed being part of Space City Zoo, dancing in the Black Kids music video "I don't wanna teach your boyfriend how to dance with you" and occasionally working with their Mini squad. In 2008 Sophie set up a Cheerleading Coaching Program alongside Millwall Football Club teaching weekly lessons in local South East London Schools. In 2009 Sophie moved to Oxford and started to coach Oxford Brookes Bluebirds and Headington Bratz. Sophie is very proud to have coached Cheerleaders who are now part of fantastic UK Cheerleading programs including Unity Allstars, EMCA, Inferno, Sparks, LCE, Genesis and Kingston Cougars.

In 2012 Sophie founded Allstar Heroes beginning with a senior monthly team combining all of her Oxford cheerleaders. In 2014 Heroes expanded to include Mini, Youth and Junior athletes. Sophie holds USASF Levels 1, 2 and 3 credentialling and when she isn't cheerleading teaches full time in an Oxford primary school.

BIANCA

Bianca has been a keen dancer from a young age, reaching Advanced level in several genres. She became one of the UK's first under 18's to qualify as a REPs-accredited fitness instructor and now has over 10 years' experience in the fitness industry. Bianca discovered cheerleading whilst studying at university, where she won two national titles with the Oxford Brookes Bluebirds. She joined Allstar Heroes in 2012 and is qualified in BGU Levels 1 and 2 with Future Cheer. In her time away from cheerleading, Bianca is a medical writer with a PhD in molecular biology.

BEN

Ben began cheerleading in 2009 as part of Oxford Sirens at Oxford University. He also cheered as part of the National Champion Oxford Brookes Bluebirds team in 2012 and 2013 where he met Sophie.
Upon graduating from Oxford University Ben moved to Bristol to complete his masters where he continued to travel back to Oxford monthly to train with Heroes. In 2014 Ben joined Sparks Xplosion Senior Co-Ed 4 and was crowned National Champions with his Level 5 stunt group.
He began coaching Allstar Heroes Junior All-Girl team Starlight and continued to compete with Blackout.
Ben is BGU-qualified in Levels 1 and 2 with Future Cheer. When Ben isn't cheerleading (not often) he is the Director of Studies at Oxford International Study Centre.

HOLLY

Holly found her love for cheerleading at age 18, when she joined her university team, Oxford Brookes Bluebirds in 2013. Having been a flyer on Bluebirds throughout her three years at university, Holly went on to become an assistant coach after graduating. She qualified as a level 1 and 2 coach with BGU in April 2017, and now coaches Starlight.

Outside of cheer, Holly works as a Marketing Executive for a student accommodation company based in Oxford.

MASH

Mash has been involved in gymnastics and dancing from a young age and discovered her love for cheerleading when she joined the Brookes University team in 2014. She has level 1 and 2 qualifications in gymnastics and has coached children since the age of 14. Mash transferred these skills to cheerleading and was positioned as a flyer and President of the team in the season of 2016-2017. Following this she joined Allstar Heroes and became BGU-qualified in Levels 1 and 2 with Future Cheer. When Mash is not involved in cheerleading she teaches Maths at a Comprehensive secondary school in West Oxfordshire.

IMMY

At a young age, Immy was introduced to the world of gymnastics and dance. After 9 years of elite artistic gymnastics, she joined Allstar Heroes on teams Starlight and Blackout. Already being a gymnastics coach, Immy took interest in cheerleading coaching and was taken onto the junior coaching programme. Immy is now a BGU-qualified Level 3 coach with Future Cheer in addition to being a Level 2 UKGymnastics coach. She plans to progress her coaching into a full time career. Immy is currently taking a gap year to further her coaching studies to help her become accepted into one of the top sports universities in the UK.

DEB

Compared with our other coaches, Deb found cheer quite late in life (at 26); however, this doesn't stop her bringing the sass! She has now competed for 4 years and qualified as a BGU Level 1& 2 coach with Future Cheer in October 2018. Outside of cheer Deb is an administrator and is often found at the start line of various running events across the country.
